If you want to be a firefighter you have to fill out a long form and do all kind of tests. For your physical test you have to carry a very heavy tank on your back, you have to walk up the stairs 25 times and pull up a ladder and pull the hose 8 metres. Also they pull a dummy 8metres.
Firefighters respond to emergency calls in a variety of way. If there is a fire in a building the Firefighter can come and get the people out and get the hose to put the fire out, Because the fire is very big it will burn the whole house.
Fire trucks are like a moving tool box. A fire truck can carry a ladder and a fist aid kit. Also it can carry a tool and it is called the pick-axes. You use it if someone is stuck it can bust the door open.
I would not like to be a firefighter because. It takes a very hard training and I will be scared of going in the fire's. I will not be brave and it will be so hard for me to handle.
