Ko founga hono ma'u'e Tonga 'a hono hingoa
One day there lived a very big strong and muscular man and his name is Maui. One day he swam to samoa and meet a man named Tonga Taumata'u (The expert fisherman). But the interesting thing is that maui did not pick one of the special ones he picked the old ragged hook with spider webs all over it.
Maui then grabbed that hook and thanked tonga then maui asked tonga if he wanted anything back. Tonga then said "when you find a island name it after me" maui had accepted his request.
