Wow what an exciting day I had on Saturday   I went to Jump with my dad, cousins, Auntys and Uncles. We were playing dodgeball with heaps of other people

The best thing that happened was when  I hit my dad with the ball and we won 5 times.  They only won 3 times. After that we went and had some Mac Donald's.

I felt so excited when I had a Big Mac. It was a double Big Mac burger. After that I went to play on the park for a little while. It was fun.

Learning about Dinosaurs at the  Museum

On our trip to the museum we turned into paleontologists.  A

palaeontologists is a person that goes to look for dinosaur fossils that are very old. Dinosaur bones that are under the dry and hard mud you have to dig a very long way it is deep in the very dry and hard mud. I wish that I was a palaeontologists it might be cool to be one.  

A Tyrannosaurus rex eats a very big and fat triceratops for dinner. Jezakaia was holding dinosaur poop. People said that the poop smelled like candy and poop. Everyone was laughing and screaming loudly.

Delilah was holding claws. Waylan was holding a dinosaur claw. The big leg has four toes on its hands, it has three claws. Did you know that Nahea is the same size as a Tyrannosaurus rexs mouth. We played a game and it was called fossil or not.

Manaiakalani film festival.

Our whole school went to the Manaiakalani film festival it was so fun because all of the movies were so funny the funniest movie to me was the force and the Manaiakalani boy those were the funniest movies there are 12 different schools in the Manaiakalani film festival it is cool.

The red chairs were as comfy as a very giant marshmallow it is comfortable. 

Navy band

Today the navy band came to our school to perform. My favourite part was when the man sprayed the water on us.

Chromebook

Wow! what an exciting afternoon I had yesterday Room 15 went to Mr Moran's class and they taught us how to use chromebooks for when we are year 4s because they know a lot about chromebooks

We each were matched with a buddy my buddys name was Lorenzo. We watched a dinosaur video and it was all about dinosaurs After that we played games.

The games that we played on the chromebook was run 2 it was so fun learning how to use chromebook at Mr Moran's class

I felt excited when I was able to play games on the the year 4s chromebooks.

P.E

 The Team 3 and team 4 has P.E Miss vaafusuaga sets up the gear sometimes she sets up the gear with Mr Moran while everyone else lines up at class.

I felt so excited because I like my favourite game was cricket With team 3 and team 4 it is so fun.

If you want to be a politician I need to work very hard. I have to walk around people's houses and knock on people's doors and tell them to vote for me. I stand outside with a sign people beep they say yes. Some say,boo

Politician work in both Wellington and their local electorate. Taxes come from our parents to buy some clothes for poor people.

Firefighter David

If you want to be a firefighter you have to fill out a long form and do all kind of tests. For your physical test you have to carry a very heavy tank on your back, you have to walk up the stairs 25 times and pull up a  ladder and pull the hose 8 metres. Also they pull a dummy 8metres.

Firefighters respond to emergency calls in a variety of way. If there is a fire in a building the Firefighter can come and get the people out and get the hose to put the fire out, Because the  fire is very big it will burn the whole house.

Fire trucks are like a moving tool box. A fire truck can carry a ladder and a fist aid kit. Also it can carry a tool and it is called the pick-axes. You use it if someone is stuck it can bust the door open.

 I would not like to be a firefighter because. It takes a very hard training and I will be scared of going in the fire's. I will not be brave and it will be so hard for me to handle.

Kojo is a hardworking boy from Ghana, who is very poor. When kojo's father passed away he decided to sell some firewood to make some money. When his mother receives a loan from some village families she gives a little money to her son. Kojo was using the money that his mother gave him to get some hens,  so he can sell the eggs at the market and have some to eat.

Kojo sells his eggs at the market and buys more hens. Kojo wanted to buy a chicken farm so he went to the bank and got a loan, so he can buy him a chicken farm.

Kojo started a trust that gives out small loans to people who cannot get a loan from a bank. Kojo sells eggs so they can keep healthy. People get money from him because he gives them jobs.

Once upon a time there was a rich man and he had a beautiful daughter and her name was Ella and her dad married an ugly woman she had two ugly sisters. They called her Cinderella because she sleep by the fire. The prince was at the ball looking for an wife because he did not have one.cinderella couldn't go because her mother was making her do all the chores. Cinderella was the most beautiful women at the ball. At midnight she had to run home but her beautiful glass slipper fell off her foot. The prince took it to her home and tried it on and it fit. Cinderella married the prince.

Uptown Funk

I made this movie with my friends in year 3 extension. The first thing we did was to write new words to Bruno Mars' song - Uptown Funk. Then we had to record ourselves singing. Finally we were able to make our very own MTV.

Maui and the sun

A long time ago Maui and his brothers had no time to eat fish and hunt because the sun was going to fast so Maui had an idea him and his brothers made flax ropes when the flax ropes were ready Maui and his brothers went to the hole where the sun went up and they hid behind a big rock when the sun came out Maui and the brothers trapped the sun then the the sun said " stop stop you are killing me " Maui said we don't care then the brothers let go of the rope then the sun was moving slowly across the sky.

The weather

The weather in Auckland it is pouring down with rain and heavy wind, it rains hard at night and in the afternoon too. We have to take  an umbrella where ever we go to not get wet by water  because we might get sick. Last night my windows were rumbling when it was raining and windy.

The little brown mouse  has big  ears and long tail and he is clever. He has small  eyes too and a little body too. I like the little mouse because he is very cool. And he is so funny  everyone was afraid of the little brown mouse because he said that he was having dinner with the gruffalo but he lied to them.

Anzac Day

we celebrate Anzac Day because when soldiers died we have to remember them. We have on Anzac Day because poppies grow on the field where the people died also we need to remember their names. 

Hokies landed

We sung beautiful waiatas to greet the waka.  pt England school greeted the waka resting on the peaceful water. We high fived the guest from Hawaii, the waka landed when the sun was shining.
